Golf Course

Rio Bravo Country Club offers an 18-hole championship golf course designed by World-renowned golf course architect Robert Muir Graves.  Originally designed to be part of the Rio Bravo Resort & Tennis Lodge by the Nickel family, the golf course was purchased in 1991 and commenced operations as Rio Bravo Country Club.

The golf course is no flat-land course.  It is the most challenging golf course in Central California with its natural terrain hugging the foothills of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range.  Rio Bravo Country Club's golf course is notoriously known for its fast greens, beautiful views, and serene 'million miles away' relaxing feeling where you can immerse yourself in a great game of golf.

The golf course has the following ratings and slopes:

Blue Tees:                  Rating of 73.9 and Slope of 134.

White Tees - Men:       Rating of 71.8 and Slope of 129.

White Tees - Women:   Rating of 75.8 and Slope of 138.

Red Tees:                   Rating of 73.7 and Slope of 130.

Par Hole 11 at 616 yards from Blue Tees and you will the hero in your group.  It is a challenging golf course that requires a lot of attention with close to 25 crew members ensuring its continuing excellence.  By far the golf course is the pride and joy of Rio Bravo Country Club.
