   Rio Bravo Country Club is just 15 minutes from Downtown Bakersfield, the Rio Bravo Country Club Golf Course offers a welcome contrast to the flat-land courses of the Valley floor. Rio Bravo Country Club is a private, member-only facility.
   
   For starters, Rio Bravo Country Club features a championship 18-hole golf course sculpted out of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Mountain views and refreshing breezes serve as a natural backdrop to our greens, which are considered amongst the top 10 in California.

   World-renowned golf course architect Robert Muir Graves designed the Rio Bravo Country Club Golf Course to work in harmony with its setting. So, you'll discover a gently rolling terrain that creates a unique personality for each hole.

   In addition, Rio Bravo Country Club meets championship standards. Our course measures 6,555 yards from the regular tees with a rating of 70.9; it stretches 7,018 yards from the championship tees with an impressive 74.4 rating. Our very fast greens are very well know for their quality.

   That's why you'll find distinctive events held at Rio Bravo Country Club. We've been the site of the Southern California Open since 1985. The PGA Tour Qualifying, first and second stages, have held on our course since 1986. And we hosted the Ben Hogan Open, open qualifying, in 1990 and 1991.

The Clubhouse at Rio Bravo Country Club has a Spanish style with a unique tower in the center.

The Buena Vista Room is located on the top floor of the Clubhouse and is available for just about any occasion.  Members have enjoyed this facility for years; however, you do not have to be a member to host your special event at Rio Bravo Country Club.
